Charon's Obol
Play a high stake game of head or tails against a mysterious opponent, trapped under the ocean in a claustrophobic, eldritch & Lovecraftian horror atmosphere.

How to play:
You play each round over a key. If you get 3 keys you win. If the opponent gets 3 keys, or he runs out of beers, you lose.
Click on the head or tails on the table to bet bottle caps. Click on the opposite side to remove caps. You can bet up to 5 caps. Click on the coins to play.
If you guess right the opponent loses the amount of the caps you have bet, if you guess wrong you lose the caps.
Use items to turn the odds in your favor. Hover over each item to see what it does. click to use the item. Items stay from round to round.
Arrow keys or A-D to look around.
Pay attention to the dialogue to find a way to break out of the loop. And if you see a bug, why not crush it?
Secret ending Spoiler warning!
After winning a round (using the shotgun) check the settings menu. It is hinted through the dialogue that you should check the settings. There will be a new menu that let's you change the camera from fixed to free movement so you can leave your seat, thus breaking the loop.
A bit of background about the title:
Charon's obol comes from Greek mythology, it's a term for the coin placed in or on the mouth of a dead person before burial as a payment or bribe for Charon, the ferryman who took souls across the river Styx, that divided the world of the living from the world of the dead.

Cool game reminds me of buckshot roulette
For me the game froze when loading and after the camera in the cinematic turned upward I got BSOD :D
Ahh that's weird, we never had that! it does freeze on load because it's loading shaders, but never had a crash after that. Are you on windows?

Liked the game. Always enjoy how many different types of personalities devs can put into these similar games. Artstyle, sound track pretty good.
Bugs...the ending screen doesn't play (For both choices).
The Gum item can bug to not guarantee correct bet (I don't know what steps are needed to replicate but the Tails coins end up not lighting up when you flip the coins, Idk if it's related)
The opponent can bet nothing sometimes? Nothing happens if he wins and nothing if he loses, intended? but weird that he can still choose to bet on his last life and die
Feedback...the amount of turns you have are a bad way to end if you have 2 keys. Suggest that opponent has a beer tucked away if you have 2 keys. Otherwise it ends normally.
