Demo is out!


Demo is out, yaay!

I’ve been putting it off for a moment now… My last post was saying the demo was going to be out soon and well.. it was 35 days ago!

The good news is that the demo is now a reality! It’s available for Windows, Linux, and Mac! Please be aware that the mac version was not tested, so if you have any trouble please let me know.

The goal

I’m releasing a demo for multiple reasons:

  • I want feedback! I hope to get your view on the current state of the game. Do you like the idea, the gameplay, the art, etc…
  • Golfly will be a paid game at around 5€. Because I’m not well known as a developer, I understand that people might be a bit skeptical before buying my game. The demo is a good way for them to try the game and eventually buy if they desire to.
  • It helps with motivation. It’s a clear goal and reassures me that I’m working on something that I can finish and will see the light of day.

With this demo, I’ve got all I need to finish the game. Based on your feedback, I’ll surely make a tweak here and there and maybe add some mechanics I’m working on. In the meantime, I can continue building the levels.

Je viens d'essayer. Ça part bien ! La variété est excitante et donne envie. Je m'y remets demain et repèrerai les dys si il y en a. Déjà bravo !
